Your CV isn't bad.
It's just not Swedish.
Most international tech CVs are written well, for the wrong market. We review yours the way a Stockholm recruiter actually reads it, and show you what to change.
How we can help
Seven seconds. That is roughly how long a Swedish recruiter spends on your CV before deciding to read on or move to the next one.
Detailed review
We read your CV line by line and note what stands out, what gets skipped, and what a Swedish recruiter would quietly set aside.
The Swedish register
Reviewed by a senior HR specialist with current, hands-on experience hiring for Stockholm tech teams. Not an algorithm. Not a template.
Support through the process
Getting hired in Sweden is rarely just about the CV. We are available for the questions in between: interview format, salary norms, and what a Swedish "nej tack" actually means.
What we actually look at
- How your CV reads to a Swedish recruiter in the first few seconds
- Whether your impact is phrased in a way Swedish managers recognise: ownership and measurable outcomes, without US-style self-promotion
- ATS compatibility for systems Swedish tech companies actually use, including Teamtailor, Workable, Greenhouse, and Lever
- Cultural markers that quietly disqualify international CVs: photo or no photo, personal details, tone, length
- Language strategy: when to submit in English, when in Swedish, and how the choice affects your shortlist odds
- Structural conventions: no objective statement, no references page, short and factual
Questions we hear often
Who is this for?
Mainly international tech professionals already living in Sweden or planning to apply for Swedish tech roles. Also Swedish candidates who want a sharper, more current take on their CV.
Do I need a Swedish CV if the job ad is in English?
Usually yes. Even English-language ads in Sweden are often screened by Swedish recruiters who expect a local CV structure: short, factual, no objective statement, photo optional, no references page.
I'm not in Sweden yet. Can you still help?
Yes. A large part of what we do is helping people apply before they relocate, when getting shortlisted is hardest. We will advise on realistic timelines and which companies are most open to relocating candidates. We are not immigration lawyers; for permit questions we will point you to the right ones.
Are you a recruitment agency?
No. We are an independent CV review service. We are not paid by employers and we do not place candidates on commission. You are our client, not the hiring company.
